We use this as a leash splitter or more often as a short leash. We simply loop one end and clip to the middle ring to use as a handle. We've even used the "handle" to wrap around an ankle or chair leg while out on the town and need to keep the doggie close. We've had people stop us on the street while using them as a short tie, they want to know where this wonderful leash came from!

These leaves are so durable!!! We replaced after 6 yrs, but only because our new future baby used it for a chew toy. I know it is designed to be a splitter, but we have one per dog and used them daily!

When my 90# lab, Lacey Dawn, started going blind about 5 years ago I bought an EarthDog coupler. Now coupled to her buddy, Rocko my shep mix, she walks confidence on our outings knoing her buddy is right next to her.

I was looking for an easier way to walk our two large (70+ lb) dogs. This coupler was the answer. We've had this product for at least 6 years and we still have the original. It's held up great to tough walks while we were still training against pulling.
